저는 인간–로봇 상호작용(HRI), 물리적 AI, 로봇 윤리를 연구하고 있습니다. 이 사이트는 대학 소속의 공식 연구실 페이지는 아니며, 지금까지 해온 연구와 프로젝트를 한곳에 모아둔 개인 공간입니다.
로봇이 화면 밖으로 나와 사람 곁에서 움직이기 시작하면, 성능 수치만으로는 답할 수 없는 질문들이 생깁니다. 사람이 이 시스템을 편하게 느끼는지, 믿어도 된다고 생각하는지, 위험하지는 않은지. 저는 이런 질문을 붙잡고 연구해 왔습니다.
논문을 쓰는 것에서 멈추기보다 교재를 만들고, 학생들과 시스템을 직접 구현하고, 특허로 이어가는 식으로 일해 왔습니다. 아래에 있는 자료들이 그 기록입니다.
또 하나의 축은 사람의 마음입니다. 교육심리상담을 공부했고, 영화를 매개로 한 심리상담(영화치료)과 개인·집단상담, 교육 프로그램을 진행하고 있습니다. 기술과 상담 — 방식은 다르지만 둘 다 사람을 이해하는 일이라고 생각합니다.

When robots step out of the screen and start moving alongside people, questions arise that performance numbers alone cannot answer: does the person feel comfortable with the system, do they feel they can trust it, is it safe? These are the questions I have been holding onto.
Rather than stopping at papers, I write textbooks, build systems with students, and carry work through to patents. The materials below are that record.
Another axis of my work is the human mind. I studied educational psychology and counseling, and I run individual and group counseling and education programs, including cinema therapy. Technology and counseling take different forms — but I see both as the work of understanding people.
